Bottle Rocket started with a simple idea: a place where the drinks are thoughtful, the food is honest, and nobody's judging what you ordered. We opened our doors in the heart of downtown San Diego with a focus on craft cocktails made from scratch and a kitchen that treats every plate like it matters.

Whether it's a Wednesday after-work drink or a Saturday night out with friends, we've built a space that feels as good as it looks — and that's something we're proud of.

No reservations needed for the bar, but we take your comfort seriously. Dim lighting, great music, and a layout that works for dates, groups, or solo nights.

Live Music Nights

Every Friday and Saturday, we host local musicians — jazz, indie, soul, and everything in between. It's not background noise; it's the main event.
